# Jovvie Checkout for Gravity Forms settings

Section: Jovvie Checkout > Gravity Forms

> Every field in the Jovvie Payments settings and the Jovvie payment feed for Gravity Forms.

This page explains every setting for Jovvie Checkout for Gravity Forms, which uses Stripe. You can find the plugin settings in WordPress under **Forms** > **Settings** > **Jovvie Payments**. They are split into five groups: **Jovvie Payments Account**, **Location & Terminals**, **Reader Registration**, **Payment Connect**, and **Confirmation**. Each form also has its own **Jovvie Payment Feed**, described at the end of this page.

You need to be a WordPress administrator to change these settings. After you change anything on this page, save your settings. Changes do not take effect until you save.

Use this page as a reference. For first-time setup, start with [Install and connect](https://docs.jovvie.com/checkout/gravity-forms/install-and-connect/).

> **Note: How this differs from the GiveWP and Event Tickets plugins**
>
> Compared with the GiveWP and Event Tickets plugins, in the Gravity Forms add-on:
>
> - **Test Mode** is the add-on’s own checkbox, not a setting from another plugin.
> - Reader registration has its own group, **Reader Registration**, which is always visible.
> - **Reset location** is an option under **Location ID**, not a separate button.
> - **Country (2-letter code)** is a text box, not a list.
> - The saved location is shown under **Current Location**.

## Jovvie Payments Account

This group connects the add-on to your Jovvie account.

- **Connection Status**: Shows **Connect with Jovvie Payments** until you connect. After that it shows **Connected**. See [Install and connect](https://docs.jovvie.com/checkout/gravity-forms/install-and-connect/).
- **Public Key** and **Secret Key**: These are filled in for you when you connect. Do not share them, and do not paste them into emails or chats. Leave them as they are unless Jovvie support asks you to change them.
- **Webhook**: A webhook is an automatic message Jovvie sends to your site to report a payment update. This read-only box shows the address Jovvie sends those messages to. Below it you see **Last webhook received on** with a date and time, or **No webhook received yet.**, and a reminder that **Webhooks will not reach a site on localhost or in maintenance mode.** Jovvie needs the webhook to tell your site about payment failures, cancellations, and refunds. Contact [Jovvie support](https://jovvie.com/support/) to confirm your webhook is set up.
- **Test Mode**: A checkbox labeled **Use the Jovvie test environment**. When it is selected, no real card is charged. The same keys work for live and test. See [Use test mode](https://docs.jovvie.com/payments/test-mode/).
- **Accepted Payment Status**: The payment status an entry gets when a payment is accepted. Leave it set to **Completed (Paid)**, the default.
- **Diagnostics**: A checkbox labeled **Enable debug logging and the missing-webhook notice**. It is off by default. When it is selected, the add-on writes more detailed messages to Gravity Forms’ logging, and WordPress shows a notice that starts with **Jovvie Payments: no payment webhook has been received recently.** if no update from Jovvie arrives after your payments. Jovvie support may ask you to turn it on while they look into a problem. If you see that notice, contact [Jovvie support](https://jovvie.com/support/).

## Location & Terminals

This group sets the location your readers belong to. A location is the place where your readers are registered, and you need one to use them. For the general idea, see [Set up a location and readers in WordPress](https://docs.jovvie.com/checkout/locations-and-readers/).

- **Terminals**: A read-only list of the readers that work with Jovvie. Web terminals are card readers that connect to the internet on their own, and staff use them from a web browser. App terminals are readers that connect through the Jovvie app. **Web Terminals** are **Stripe Terminal S700** and **Wise POS E**. **Jovvie App Terminals** are **M2**, **WisePad 3**, **Tap to Pay on Android**, and **Tap to Pay on iPhone**. The links **Shop Terminals**, **Jovvie App (App Store)**, and **Jovvie App (Google Play)** open the reader shop and the app stores. See [Web terminals and app terminals](https://docs.jovvie.com/hardware/web-and-app-terminals/).

### Location ID

The description reads **Default Stripe terminal readers Location ID.** Choose one of these options:

- **Custom Location ID**: Use a location you already have. Enter it in **Stripe Location ID**, then save your settings.
- **Create location**: Have Jovvie create the location for you. Fill in **Address Line 1**, **Address Line 2**, **Postal Code**, **City**, **Country (2-letter code)**, and **State / Province (optional)**. Save your settings. Jovvie creates a live location and a test location together.
- **Reset location**: Delete the saved location and the readers registered to it. Read the caution about **Reset location** in this section before you use it.

**Current Location** shows what is saved:

- **No location configured yet.** appears until you save one.
- With **Custom Location ID**, it shows **Custom Location ID:** and the ID.
- After **Create location**, it shows **Live Location ID** and **Test Location ID**. Under each ID it lists the readers registered to that location, with each reader’s label and status. If the list cannot load, you see **Could not load readers.**

> **Caution**
>
> **Reset location** deletes the saved location itself from your Stripe account, along with every reader registered to it. It does not only clear the setting.
>
> - This includes a location you entered with **Custom Location ID**. If you use that location anywhere else, such as with another Jovvie plugin or another site, it is deleted there too, and so are its readers.
> - For a location made with **Create location**, it deletes both the live location and the test location, and the readers registered to each.
>
> After a reset, you must set a location again and register your readers again. Do not reset while a payment is in progress. To switch to a different location without deleting the current one, choose **Custom Location ID** or **Create location** instead and save.

## Reader Registration

Only web terminals (Stripe Terminal S700 and Wise POS E) need a registration code, which is a short code the reader shows on its screen. App terminals (M2, WisePad 3, and Tap to Pay) are set up in the Jovvie app.

Save a location first. A reader is registered to the saved location.

1. Under **Mode**, select **Live** or **Test**.
2. In **Registration Code**, enter the code shown on the reader.
3. In **Reader Label (optional)**, enter a name for the reader.
4. Save your settings.

The **Registration Code** box is empty again after you save. To check that the reader is registered:

- If you used **Create location**, look for the reader’s label under **Current Location**, below the matching location ID.
- If you used **Custom Location ID**, **Current Location** shows only the ID. Check for the reader in your Stripe Dashboard instead.

## Payment Connect

This group lets guests use your readers on the payment page without signing in to WordPress. It is where you connect a browser.

- **Connect Browser**: Select **Connect this browser** to link the current browser to a location. This keeps access to your readers active after you sign out of WordPress, so a shared or kiosk device can take payments. In **Location ID (optional)**, you can enter a location to link to.

When you save, you are sent to a Jovvie page to finish. Only connect browsers you trust, such as a device that stays at your counter. For more on shared devices, see [Use Checkout on a shared or kiosk device](https://docs.jovvie.com/checkout/connect-a-browser/).

## Confirmation

- **Auto-reload**: A checkbox labeled **After showing the confirmation, reload the page to a fresh form**. On by default.
- **Reload delay (seconds)**: How long the confirmation shows before the page reloads. The default is 5.

See [Reset the form after each payment](https://docs.jovvie.com/checkout/gravity-forms/auto-reload/).

## Jovvie Payment Feed

These settings are on each form, under the form’s settings for **Jovvie Payments**. See [Add Jovvie to a form](https://docs.jovvie.com/checkout/gravity-forms/add-to-a-form/).

- **Name**: A name for the feed. Required.
- **Description**: Text shown on the Jovvie payment page. Gravity Forms merge tags work here. If you leave it empty, the page shows a message that starts with **Payment via Gravity Forms on**.
- **Condition**: Under **Conditional Logic**. Process this feed only when the conditions you set are met.
