# Turn on Jovvie Checkout debug logs for Event Tickets

Section: Jovvie Checkout > Event Tickets

> Turn on the Jovvie log for Event Tickets, then download or delete it when support asks.

This page helps you turn on the error log in the Jovvie plugin for Event Tickets. A log is a record of what the plugin did. Turn it on when you are troubleshooting, so Jovvie support can see what went wrong.

You need to be a WordPress administrator. The **Logs** section appears after your Stripe account is connected. See [Install and connect](https://docs.jovvie.com/checkout/the-events-calendar/install-and-connect/).

## Turn on logging

1. In your WordPress admin, go to **Tickets** > **Settings**.
2. Open the **Payments** tab, then open the **Jovvie** settings.
3. Scroll to **Logs**.
4. Select **Enable logging**.
5. Save your changes at the bottom of the page.

Repeat the action that caused the problem. The log only records problems that happen while logging is on.

> **Caution: If the problem involved a payment**
>
> Before you repeat a payment, check your Stripe Dashboard. Make sure no payment went through and none is still processing. If you cannot confirm this, contact [Jovvie support](https://jovvie.com/support/) before you repeat it. Never charge a real customer again just to record the problem.

## Download the log

1. Go to **Logs** on the **Jovvie** settings.
2. Click **Download log**.
3. Send the file to [Jovvie support](https://jovvie.com/support/) only when they ask for it.

If you see **Log is empty.**, nothing has been recorded yet.

> **Caution**
>
> The log can contain details about your site and your orders. Share it only with Jovvie support. Do not post it in public forums or chats.

## Delete the log

1. Go to **Logs** on the **Jovvie** settings.
2. Click **Delete log**.

## Turn off logging

1. Clear **Enable logging**.
2. Save your changes.

Turn logging off when you are done troubleshooting. Turning it off does not delete the existing log. Use **Delete log** for that.
