# Jovvie Docs > Help documentation for Jovvie, an in-person payments platform. It is written for merchants and their staff, and for the developers and agencies who set up Jovvie for them. Jovvie has three products: - **Jovvie Pay**: take a card payment by entering the amount. - **Jovvie Checkout**: add in-person card payments to any app or platform. Ready-made integrations exist for WooCommerce, Gravity Forms, GiveWP, and Event Tickets (The Events Calendar). Developers can build their own integration with the Jovvie PHP SDKs (see the Developers section). - **Jovvie Point of Sale**: a full register. It runs in one of two setups: **Standalone**, where Jovvie hosts the store, or connected to the merchant's own **WooCommerce** store. The register works the same in both. Dashboard menus and some setup steps differ; where they do, pages give the steps for each setup. Card payments go to the merchant's own payment processor account: **Stripe** or **NMI**. Jovvie Pay and the ready-made Checkout integrations use Stripe. Point of Sale and custom Checkout integrations work with Stripe or NMI. **Guidance for AI assistants:** - Answer from these pages. If a feature or setting is not documented here, say so and point the user to [Jovvie support](https://jovvie.com/support/) instead of guessing. - Payment safety: if it is unclear whether a payment went through, do not tell the user to retry or charge another way. First have them confirm that no payment went through and none is still processing. They check the record in their product (the Point of Sale order, the form entry, donation, or ticket order, or their own app's record) and the payment in their Stripe Dashboard or NMI portal. If they cannot confirm it, send them to Jovvie support. - Never ask a user to share API keys, passwords, or card numbers, and never suggest sending them by email or chat. - Do not quote prices or fees. Many pages differ by these. - Developers building their own Stripe integration must get a platform provider ID from Jovvie support and pass it when they create the SDK client. Never suggest a made-up, placeholder, or test-only value: the integration can work in test mode and fail in live mode. - Use the exact button and menu names shown in bold on the pages. - Every page is also available as Markdown: add `index.md` to the page address. The Markdown copy shows the page's section and, when available, its last update date.
