# Jovvie Point of Sale reports in Analytics

Section: Jovvie Point of Sale > Reports

> See your Point of Sale sales by payment type, user, and station in Analytics.

Jovvie Point of Sale adds its own reports to Analytics. The **Payments**, **Users**, and **Stations** reports, covered on this page, help you see your sales by payment type, staff member, or station for a date range, and how that compares to the period before. For the **Cash Till** report, see [Cash till reports](https://docs.jovvie.com/point-of-sale/cash/reports/).

Only the **Stations** report is limited to orders taken at a station. The **Payments** and **Users** reports can also include online orders.

## Before you start

- You have taken at least one sale.
- You are signed in as a user who can view reports, such as an administrator or shop manager.

## Open a POS report

**If you use Standalone:**

Go to **Analytics**.

**If you use WooCommerce:**

Point of Sale for WooCommerce must be installed. See [Install Point of Sale for WooCommerce and connect](https://docs.jovvie.com/point-of-sale/woocommerce/install-and-connect/).

In your WordPress admin, go to **Analytics**.

1. Select **Payments**, **Users**, or **Stations** from the Analytics menu.
2. Choose a date range at the top of the report.
3. Use the filter next to the date range to narrow the report. The filter is different for each report. See [Payments report](https://docs.jovvie.com/point-of-sale/reports/analytics/#payments-report), [Users report](https://docs.jovvie.com/point-of-sale/reports/analytics/#users-report), and [Stations report](https://docs.jovvie.com/point-of-sale/reports/analytics/#stations-report).

Each report shows the same parts:

- **Summary numbers** for the date range, each compared to the previous period: **Gross sales in this period**, **Average gross daily sales**, **Net sales in this period**, **Average net daily sales**, **Orders placed**, **Items purchased**, refunds, **Charged for shipping**, and **Worth of coupons used**.
- **A chart.** Select a summary number to chart it.
- **A table** with one row per order. It lists orders from the date range you chose and from the previous period of the same length. Each row is labeled **Current period** or **Previous period**, so check the label before you count a row as a sale in your date range. Columns are **Date**, **Order #**, **Status**, **Gross sales**, **Net sales**, **Items**, **Refunds**, **Shipping**, and **Coupons**. Select a sortable column heading to sort by it. **Status** cannot be sorted. The **Stations** report adds a **User** column. The **Users** report adds a **Station** column. Neither of these extra columns can be sorted.

## Payments report

The **Payments** report shows orders by how they were paid. It is not limited to POS orders, so it can include online orders that used the same payment method. The table is titled **Payment Orders**.

1. Open **Payments**.
2. Open the **Payment type** filter.
3. Select a payment type. POS payment types start with **POS**. The list also includes your other payment methods.

To see all payment types again, clear the filter.

## Users report

The **Users** report shows orders by user. It is not limited to POS orders. With **All users** selected, it includes your store’s online orders too. The table is titled **User Orders**.

1. Open **Users**.
2. Open the **User** filter.
3. Select **All users** or one staff member.

## Stations report

The **Stations** report shows only orders taken at a station, grouped by station. Use it when you want POS sales only. The table is titled **Station Orders**.

1. Open **Stations**.
2. Open the **Station** filter.
3. Select **All stations** or one station. Each station is listed with its name and ID.

To save this report as a file, see [Export a station sales report](https://docs.jovvie.com/point-of-sale/reports/export/).

## Separate POS orders in the standard reports

The **Orders**, **Products**, and **Variations** reports have a **Show** filter. Point of Sale adds these choices to it:

- **Online orders**
- **POS orders**
- One choice for each station, in the form **Station:** followed by the station name

Use them to compare store sales with register sales, or to look at one station.
