# Export a Jovvie Point of Sale station sales report

Section: Jovvie Point of Sale > Reports

> Download the orders from your Stations report as a CSV file.

You can export the orders in the **Stations** report to a CSV file, which opens in any spreadsheet app. The export includes orders for the selected station or all stations, for both your selected date range and the previous period of the same length. Check **Period** before counting an order in your selected date range.

Only the **Stations** report has a **Download** button.

## Before you start

- You are signed in as a user who can view reports, such as an administrator or shop manager.
- You know which station and date range you want. See [POS reports in Analytics](https://docs.jovvie.com/point-of-sale/reports/analytics/).

## Export the report

**If you use Standalone:**

Go to **Analytics** > **Stations**.

**If you use WooCommerce:**

In your WordPress admin, go to **Analytics** > **Stations**.

1. Choose a date range.

2. In the **Station** filter, select **All stations** or one station.

3. In the **Station Orders** table, click **Download**.

The button shows **Preparing your export…**, then progress such as **Exporting…** with the number of orders done.

4. Wait for **Export ready.** Your browser downloads the file.

If the download does not start, click **Download again** next to **Export ready.**

The file name shows the station and the dates, for example `pos-station-orders_all-stations_` followed by the start and end dates.

## What is in the file

The file has one row per order, for the dates you chose and for the previous period of the same length. All order statuses are included. These columns are in the file:

- **Period** (**Current period** or **Previous period**)
- **Date**
- **User** and **User ID**
- **Order #**
- **Status**
- **Gross sales**
- **Net sales**
- **Items** (the number of product lines) and **Units** (the total quantity)
- **Refunds**
- **Shipping**
- **Coupons**
- **Payment method**
- **Currency**

## If something goes wrong

### **“No orders in this period.”**

**Symptom:** You click **Download** and see this message. No file downloads.

**Cause:** No orders match the station and dates you selected.

**Fix:** Change the date range or station, then start the export again.

### **“The export failed.”** or **“The export could not be started.”**

**Symptom:** The export stops with one of these messages.

**Cause:** The export did not finish or did not start.

**Fix:**

1. Click **Retry download**.
2. If it keeps failing, contact [Jovvie support](https://jovvie.com/support/).

### **“Attached to the export already in progress.”**

**Symptom:** You click **Download** and see this message.

**Cause:** An export you already started is still running.

**Fix:** Wait. The page picks up the export already in progress and downloads the file when it is ready.

### **“Too many exports are running right now. Please try again in a moment.”**

**Symptom:** You click **Download** and see this message.

**Cause:** Your site is busy with other exports.

**Fix:** Wait a moment, then start the export again.

### **“The download link has expired. Please export again.”**

**Symptom:** You open a download link and see this message.

**Cause:** Download links work for a limited time.

**Fix:** Run the export again, as described in [Export the report](https://docs.jovvie.com/point-of-sale/reports/export/#export-the-report).
