# Let staff edit their profile in Jovvie Point of Sale

> Turn on profile editing for a station so staff can change their name, password, and passcode in the register.

Let staff update their own details from the Jovvie Point of Sale register menu so they do not need to ask an administrator to do it. It works once you turn on profile editing for a station.

## Before you start

You need to be an administrator or shop manager.

## Turn on profile editing

1. In your dashboard, go to **POS** > **Stations**.
2. Click **Edit Station** on the station.
3. Open the **Users** tab.
4. Under **Profile Edit**, set **Enable Profile Edit** to **Enabled**.
5. Click **Save**.

Profile editing is off by default. Each station has its own setting.

## What staff see

When profile editing is on, staff see a pencil icon next to their name in the register menu. They can use it to change their first and last name, password, and passcode. For the staff steps, see [Edit your profile in the register](https://docs.jovvie.com/point-of-sale/sell/edit-your-profile/).
