# Change the Jovvie Point of Sale register theme

> Set light or dark mode, the brand color, and the order completion celebration for a station, and let staff change them on their own device.

Set the theme for the Jovvie Point of Sale register. The theme controls light or dark mode, the brand color, and a celebration when an order is completed. You set the default for each station, and staff can then change it for themselves on the register.

## Before you start

- You need to be an administrator or shop manager.

## Set the default theme for a station

1. In your dashboard, go to **POS** > **Stations**.
2. Find the station and click **Edit Station**.
3. Open the **General** tab.
4. Go to the **Theme** section.
5. Under **Appearance**, choose **System Settings**, **Light Mode**, or **Dark Mode**. **System Settings** follows the device and is the default.
6. Under **Brand Color**, choose a color: **Jovvie Blue**, **Ocean Teal**, **Royal Purple**, **Emerald Green**, **Crimson Red**, **Amber Orange**, **Slate Gray**, **Rose Gold**, **Sunny Yellow**, or **Custom**. **Jovvie Blue** is the default.
7. If you chose **Custom**, pick your color.
8. Under **Celebrations**, select or clear **Order Completion Confetti**. It is on by default.
9. Click **Save**.

## Change the theme on the register

Staff can change the theme from the register. The choice is saved in that device’s browser, so it applies to that device only. On that device, it takes priority over the station default.

1. On the register, open the main menu.
2. Select **Theme**. The **Theme Settings** window opens.
3. Under **Appearance**, select **System Settings**, **Light Mode**, or **Dark Mode**.
4. Under **Brand Color**, select a color. To use your own color, select **Custom**, pick a color, and click **Apply**. Click **Cancel** to go back without changing it.
5. Under **Celebrations**, select **Order Completion Confetti** to turn it on or off.
