Reset a Gravity Forms form after each Jovvie Checkout payment
Set up auto-reload for Jovvie Checkout in Gravity Forms so your form is ready for the next customer after each payment. After a customer pays, they come back to your form’s page and see the form’s confirmation. With auto-reload, the page then returns to a blank form after a short delay. Use it on a kiosk, a counter, or any device that takes payments one after another.
Before you start
Section titled “Before you start”- The Jovvie add-on is installed and connected. See Install and connect.
- You are signed in to WordPress as an administrator.
Change auto-reload
Section titled “Change auto-reload”Auto-reload is on by default, and the delay is 5 seconds. These settings apply to every form that uses Jovvie on your site.
- In WordPress, go to Forms > Settings > Jovvie Payments.
- Find the Confirmation group.
- To keep auto-reload on, leave Auto-reload selected. Its label is After showing the confirmation, reload the page to a fresh form.
- In Reload delay (seconds), enter how long the confirmation stays on screen. The default is 5.
- Save your settings.
To turn auto-reload off, clear the Auto-reload checkbox and save. The confirmation then stays on screen until someone leaves the page.
The Reload delay (seconds) field is only used while Auto-reload is on.
When it applies
Section titled “When it applies”- Auto-reload works when the form’s confirmation shows a message on the same page. If the form’s confirmation sends the customer to another page or web address, they are sent there and the page does not reload.
- If the customer leaves the Jovvie payment page without paying, they go straight back to a fresh form. No confirmation shows.
