Add shipping to an order in Jovvie Point of Sale
Use shipping when the order is going to the customer instead of leaving with them. The register works out which shipping methods are available from the customer’s address, so you can pick one and add its cost to the sale.
Before you start
Section titled “Before you start”- Shipping must be turned on for your store, and your shipping zones and methods must be set up. If shipping is turned off, Add shipping does not appear. See Change shipping settings.
- The order needs a customer. The Add shipping button only shows after you add one. See Add a customer to a sale.
- The customer needs a complete billing or shipping address, with first and last name, street address, city, postcode, and country. To ship to the billing address, the customer’s billing email must also be filled in. Shipping Details has no email field and does not need one.
- The Add shipping button can be hidden for a station. If you do not see it, ask an administrator or shop manager.
Add shipping
Section titled “Add shipping”- Tap the three-dot menu in the cart totals area.
- Tap Add shipping. The Select Shipping Location screen opens.

Shipping appears in the cart totals and is added to the total.
If no options appear
Section titled “If no options appear”- If you see Oops, no shipping methods are setup for the customer, the customer’s address is incomplete. Check that every address field has a value, edit the customer, and try again. See Add a customer to a sale.
- If you see Oops, no shipping methods are setup for the location., your store has no shipping method for that address. An administrator or shop manager needs to add a shipping zone for it. See Change shipping settings.
- If the customer’s address was just changed, tap Sync to reload it.
- If you see a message starting with Oops, something went wrong: Error, wait a moment and try again. If it keeps happening, see Loading and sync problems.
