Which Jovvie product do I need?
Jovvie has three products. This page helps you pick the one that matches how you take payments today.
Quick guide
Section titled “Quick guide”| If you want to… | Use |
|---|---|
| Enter an amount and get paid, without setting up products or a full register | Jovvie Pay |
| Add in-person payments to the app or platform your customers already check out with, such as a WooCommerce store, a form, a donation form, or ticket sales | Jovvie Checkout |
| Run a full register with products, a cart, customers, and reports | Jovvie Point of Sale |
Jovvie Pay: you just need to charge an amount
Section titled “Jovvie Pay: you just need to charge an amount”Choose Jovvie Pay if you don’t need products, a cart, or an integration. You enter the amount, the customer pays, and the money goes into your Stripe account. It’s a good fit for retail stores, pop-up shops, freelancers, service providers, and nonprofits.
To learn more about Jovvie Pay, see jovvie.com/pay.
Jovvie Checkout: you already have a checkout
Section titled “Jovvie Checkout: you already have a checkout”Choose Jovvie Checkout if people already check out through an app or platform and you want to add in-person card payments to it. Your customer or donor checks out as usual. Then you take the payment on a card reader, from a browser, phone, or tablet. The ready-made integrations require Stripe. An integration you build yourself can use Stripe or NMI.
Ready-made integrations are available for WooCommerce, GiveWP, Gravity Forms, and Event Tickets (with or without The Events Calendar). Developers can also build their own integration. See Build your own Jovvie Checkout integration.
With WooCommerce, you place the order through your store’s checkout, then take the payment on the Jovvie payment page. If you want a register for your staff instead, see Jovvie Point of Sale: you need a register.
Guides are available for WooCommerce orders, Gravity Forms forms, GiveWP donation forms, and Event Tickets ticket sales. See the Jovvie Checkout overview for more.
Jovvie Point of Sale: you need a register
Section titled “Jovvie Point of Sale: you need a register”Choose Jovvie Point of Sale if you sell in person and want a full register. Staff sign in, add products to a cart, take payment, and look up orders. You can use it on a tablet, computer, or phone. It comes in two setups: Standalone, where Jovvie hosts your store for you, or connected to your own WooCommerce store, where it works with your WooCommerce products, customers, and orders.
Start with the Jovvie Point of Sale overview, which helps you choose a setup.
